A security-focused organisation is adding a Threat Intelligence Architect to sit between intelligence, offensive testing, and platform design.
This position takes outputs from threat intel and red team activity and turns them into practical architectural decisions across identity, cloud, network, and endpoint layers.
You’ll work closely with threat intelligence, red team, detection, and security engineering teams to influence how platforms evolve. Rather than producing static reference architectures, you’ll focus on understanding how attackers operate in practice and designing controls that break realistic attack paths.
Expect regular exposure to intrusion data, campaign analysis, and offensive testing outputs, with a mandate to challenge assumptions and improve resilience at the design level.
Translate threat intelligence and red team findings into architectural changes
Model adversary attack paths across enterprise environments
Design security patterns that reduce blast radius, privilege abuse, and lateral movement
Review system designs using real attacker TTPs as the baseline
Partner with engineering teams to influence platform and control decisions
Support detection teams by ensuring attacker behaviour is observable by design
Feed recurring attacker techniques into longer-term security roadmaps
7+ years in threat intelligence, red teaming, security engineering, or architecture
Strong understanding of modern attacker techniques and intrusion tradecraft
Hands-on exposure to red team activity, adversary simulation, or purple teaming
Deep familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and attack-chain analysis
Experience designing or influencing controls across identity, cloud, endpoint, or network
Comfortable working at the intersection of offensive insight and defensive design
